The growing adoption of digital printing on glass requires increasingly precise, controlled, and reliable drying solutions. In this context, Cugher digital printing dryers represent a well-established solution for advanced industrial applications.
The know-how developed in screen printing has made it possible to extend performance to digital printing as well, ensuring effective control of thermal parameters and airflow. This enables uniform and stable drying, even when using highly sensitive digital inks.
OPTIMIZATION OF DRYING FOR DIGITAL INKS
Digital printing presents specific challenges related to the nature of the inks, which are particularly sensitive to air movement and temperature variations during the early drying stages.
For this reason, Cugher dryers are equipped with a “soft” diffusion ventilation system, characterized by large-diameter holes that allow:
- prevention of ink displacement before complete drying
- uniform temperature distribution across the entire glass surface
- preservation of print quality, even for complex images
The drying process is further optimized through the combination of infrared radiation (IR) and hot air recirculation, enabling efficient and controlled energy transfer even in the most critical applications.
This configuration also allows effective management of high digital ink thicknesses, up to 100 microns, while maintaining stability and control throughout the entire process. Uniform temperature control throughout the entire dryer also helps improve adhesion and the final print quality.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
Cugher dryers stand out for a range of design features that ensure high performance and operational continuity:
