MAINTENANCE
Cugher machines are designed to ensure simple and quick maintenance, with rapid interventions that minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. This approach helps reduce operational interruptions, enhance continuity, and improve long-term system performance. Designing with maintenance in mind means delivering greater reliability, efficiency, and ease of management for the end user.
Flexible and Tailor-Made Maintenance Packages
Each year, we offer customizable maintenance packages, allowing maximum flexibility in selecting the service that best suits the customer’s operational needs.
Our scheduled maintenance activities help prevent unexpected failures and are planned to avoid interfering with production cycles.

Cugher is always available for extraordinary interventions and prompt technical support, ensuring maximum reliability even in unforeseen situations:
- The customer reports anomalies or required inspections
- Cugher arranges a technical intervention at the plant
- Our technician arrives on site with:
- Intervention report
- Checklist tailored to the involved machines
- At the end of the intervention, the report is completed and signed by both parties, detailing all operations carried out.

SAFETY
Operator safety and regulatory compliance are fundamental elements in the design and construction of our systems. In an increasingly regulated industrial environment, Cugher adopts advanced solutions to ensure personnel protection and full compliance with European machinery safety directives.
SAFETY FENCES

In accordance with the new European safety regulations, the installation of appropriate safety barriers is mandatory to control access to the printing machine and the production line.
Protective Fences are designed to ensure the highest level of safety:
• Height: 2000 mm
• Interlocked doors: access permitted only with proper authorization
• Access control: managed via push buttons and integrated safety software
The installation of safety fences is a mandatory requirement for obtaining the CE Declaration of Conformity for the system.

PHOTOELECTRIC SAFETY BARRIERS
Photoelectric safety barriers are an effective and non-invasive solution to protect operators from mechanical hazards.
They comply with standards EN ISO 13855 and EN ISO 13849-1.
Key Features:
• Active protection: detect accidental or intentional access to hazardous areas
• Immediate response: stop the machine or block access without physical contact
• Infrared technology: communication between transmitter and receiver creates an invisible detection zone
Safe Operation:
• If at least one channel is interrupted, the safety relays deactivate the outputs within the specified reaction time
• Safety outputs are enabled only if channels CH1 and CH2 are consistently closed and after receiving the START signal
