Advanced Line Management Features
LINE SUPERVISOR
The Line Supervisor provides a comprehensive view of the entire production line, including all part-tracking data and recipe management (machine settings, dryer parameters, etc.). It enables fully automated changeovers and allows the storage of thousands of glass model recipes, ensuring fast and efficient production transition.
PART TRACKING
The HMI interface offers a clear visualization of key part-tracking data and allows manual adjustments when necessary, particularly in cases of misrouting or potential collisions. Through the dedicated Part Tracking page, operators can edit attributes such as alignment, status flags, glass type, and vision system status. To ensure safety and data integrity, manual edits are only allowed when the line is stopped, as tracking is continuously updated during operation.
DIAGNOSTICS
The Troubleshooting section shows real-time alarm status, helping operators quickly identify active issues. A full alarm history is also available, displaying a detailed, scrollable log with timestamps and operator acknowledgments.
TROUBLESHOOTING
ALL PARAMETERS SET-UP INTO RECIPE
Recipes consist of grouped setpoint values by area and allow quick machine setup for different glass models. Up to 200 recipes can be stored and recalled via the touch panel, with the option to extend this limit through the Line Supervisor System. All key parameters for machines and dryers are saved in the PLC/HMI for fast and efficient changeovers.
REMOTE ASSISTANCE SYSTEM
The Remote Assistance System is a dedicated hardware connected directly to the printing machine PLC, enabling remote access to the line via LAN or internet. It allows Cugher’s software engineers to provide direct support without requiring a dedicated PC or licensed software on-site. No operator action or additional installation is needed, and full remote intervention on line parameters is possible whenever support is required.
SETUP MODE
The SETUP mode (or CHANGEOVER) allows operators to configure the machine for a new glass model. This process, typically performed in Manual Mode, combines semi-automatic and manual steps to adjust all necessary parameters before starting the next production cycle.
